Having trouble signing up or logging in? Relax - we’re here to explain the simple procedures. Becoming a member of ougrote.com is completely free! You will need a valid email account and be able to check that account in order to sign up. This is because we will send a randomly generated password to your email account so that you can sign in to ougrote.com for the first time. You can of course then change your password to one of your choice.
First things first: Signing up with ougrote.com - essential if you want to comment on our stories.
Step 1: Click on the Register button in the right-hand column of the site.
Step 2: The Register For This Site box will appear. Enter the Username that you would like to be known as on ougrote.com. Then also enter your email address. Click Register. A password will be emailed to you.
Step 3: Check your email inbox for an email from Ou Grote which lists your Username and Password. Return to www.ougrote.com and enter your Username and Password in the Login Or Register section.
Step 4: Your Username will appear, showing that you are logged in. Beneath your Username you will have 2 options: Site Admin, and Logout. Clicking Logout will obviously log you out of ougrote.com. Clicking Site Admin will enable you to change your details such as your nickname and password. After changing your details remember to click the Update Profile button to save the changes. To return to the site, Click on View site>> in the top left corner of the site.
Step 5: Start commenting!
