    Probably the one player in the Bulls squad most eager to get back onto the pitch is big prop Gurthrö Steenkamp. He played his last game of rugby in August 2005 for the Boks when he was one of the finds of the Tri-Nations. Injuries have kept Steenkamp on the sidelines for more than a year now. Regarded by Springbok Coach Jake White as the natural successor to the great Os du Randt, Steenkamp will want to use the Super 14 to cement his place in the Boks’ World Cup squad.
