    JP Pietersen, named after the great Welsh fullback JPR Williams was rewarded for his natural abilities with Springbok selection in the latter stages of the Tri-Nations tournament in 2006. The explosive runner, with a loping style that catches opponents unawares with its pace knows how to score tries, having bagged 10 in 26 games in Currie Cup and Super 14 rugby, having made his debut for the latter in 2006.
